Sixth Sign?

Well, this could be it, guys.

The moon will be turning red tonight during the lunar eclipse.

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; Rev. 6:12

I might get up to watch it because I haven't seen one in a while. Also, It could be near the end of the world; there's only seven seals, you know. If anyone is going to be up, let me know. If you need a way to stay awake until 2:30 or 3:00 - when things start to get interesting - you can try reading the rest of Revelations. Actually, I dare you to read Revelations. It is some crazy stuff - kind of like an LSD trip, but not as fun.

ah, i think i see where you screwed it up, if the moon was as blood, it would be composed of red and white blood cells and platelets, floating in plasma. easy mistake. the bible had a lot to say about erythrocytes, neutrophil, eosinophil, limphocytes, and hemoglobin, right....
but wait, do they mean hemocyanin-rich blood, which comes out blue? that's common in molluscs and horseshoe crabs. sulfhemoglobinemia can cause some mammales to have green blood even, and certain skinks' blood is green because of the buildup of biliverdin.
anthropod blood isn't even proper blood anyways, more of a hemolymph. it doesn't carry oxygen because the cuticle carries spiracles, or tracheae, which can diffuse blood directly to the arthropod's tissues.
i wonder what they were talking about?

Garth, you can't take everything in the Bible literally... Uh... I mean... you have to take it literally, but ... umm ... you know, some of it is figurative. Well, none of it is figurative, and definitely not relative, but sometimes it just doesn't mean what it says. Make sense?
